What is Trauma-informed Somatic Coaching?

Many people know what they want to change yet still feel stuck. Despite insight and effort, their body shuts down, 'people-pleases', avoids, overworks or reacts emotionally.

This isn’t failure  it’s a nervous system responding to perceived threat.

Somatic trauma-informed coaching works with your nervous system rather than against it, helping your body feel safe enough to change.

How this differs from Traditional Coaching

Traditional coaching focuses on goals and mindset.


Somatic coaching focuses on regulation first.

Your nervous system learned to protect you through past experiences. Those protective patterns can continue long after they’re needed, shaping behaviour in the present.

Rather than asking “What’s wrong with me?” we explore:
Why is my nervous system responding like this right now?
